SW Red Velvet- 1984 Bay Roan with blanket ApHC mare. 'Velve' is truly the matriarch of the Thunderstruck Ranch breeding program.  Her offspring by High Sign Nugget have won more than 12 Futurities/Derbies, 8 World Championships & 4 NRHA Morrisons.  SW Red Velvet was inducted into the Canadian Supreme Hall Of Fame in 2006

 

Ima Jo's Doll - 1986 Sorrel with roan & spots(Ima Doc O'lena x Quanah's Leo Girl, ApHC).  Thunderstruck Ranch is extremely excited to have added this incredible mare to our broodmare band.  In 1989 Ima Jo's Doll won the NRCHA World Champion Open Snaffle Bit Futurity. To this day she is the only horse of anyother breed outside AQHA to win this prestigious event.  She also has achieved her NCHA C.O.A. Her 2000 daughter by Cattin, My Mom Won It All, was a 2003 NRCHA World Championship Intermediate Open Snaffle Bit Futurity finalist. & her 2004 colt by Boot Scootin Dually, Ima Bootscotin Lena, was the 2007 Canadian Supreme Open & Ltd Open Snaffle Bit Futurity & World Champion Jr Working Cow Horse. Fame A Nic - 1983 Buckskin AQHA mare.  'Remi' is an own daughter of the great reined cow horse, cutting & reining sire, Reminic out of a daughter of Sugar Vandy.  She is the dam of our mare, With Cash Comes Fame. We are very excited to have royally bred mare to our broodmare band. Her 2005 filly by High Sign Nugget, In The Nic Of Sign, is currently in training with Brad Pedersen for the fall Snaffle Bit Futurities. 'Remi' is expecting a June 2008 foal by High Sign Nugget.

 

With Cash Comes Fame - 1997 Bay AQHA mare by NRCHA Million $ sire Nu Cash out of a daughter of NRCHA Hall of Famer Reminic, Fame A Nic.   In 2001 this mare won both the Canadian Supreme Open Snaffle Bit & ARCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity. In 2002 she won the Canadian Supreme Open Non Pro Snaffle Bit/Hackamore & was Reserve Champion in the Canadian Supreme Open Hackamore, & also was Reserve Champion in the ARCHA Non Pro Snaffle Bit Futurity. Her 2003 son by High Sign Nugget, Nu Cash Sign, was the Canadian Supreme Open Hackamore Derby Champion & Reserve Champion at the Caton Ranch Ltd. Doc Olena Kachina- 2004 ApHC Brown mare by Boot Scootin Dually (Dual Pep x Jae Bar Maisie) out of Ima Docolena Kachina (Ima Doc O'lena x Colidas Happiness) .Boot Scootin Dually (deceased) was an NCHA LTE of +42,000, by the great Dual Pep & dam, Jae Bar Maisie is a full sister to Jae Bar Fletch & earner of +$120,000 NCHA herself. Boot Scootin Dually 's offspring are proving themselves, including Ima Boot Scootin Lena (Canadian Supreme & ApHC World Champion) Oklahoma's dam, Ima Docolena Kachina, was an ApCHA Open Cutting Futurity Champion.
